Welcome

The Rochedale Community Garden Inc. is an open community facility which has been developed to support people with an interest in sustainable and organic gardening practices within the Rochedale and nearby communities.

The Rochedale Community Garden provides a range of facilities to support gardeners including both community gardening areas and individual allotments which members can rent, shelter with food preparation facilities, composting, potting and propogating areas, community tools and equipment. Involvement in the wider community is also an opportunity for Rochedale Community Garden members to share skills learnt at the garden providing relevant garden workshops.

Membership is open to the public and the garden is open to members during daylight hours.  Membership is $40 per financial year, which covers you as an individual or for a couple or family group.  If you are interested in joining, or would like to find out more, the best thing to do is pop down to the garden on a Sunday afternoon and meet the crew.

At present we hold our gardening bees every Sunday from 2PM.  In the cooler months the gardening bees commence at 1PM. Members’ meeting are held at 4PM on dates to be advised.  This is where decisions are made regarding future projects, financing and participation in community events.  Social get-togethers, gardening bees, educational workshops and other activities held at the garden are shown in the calendar.
